Vána, The Vala of Flowers And Nost-na-Lothion Of Tolkien

The time has officially come to celebrate flowers in full bloom for the Elves of Tolkien, in a lovely festival called Nost-na-Lothion that is talked about only in his book of Lost Tales Part 2, so many do not know about this secret celebration unless you read this book.

On page, 172, it reads;

In these ways that bitter winter passed and the snow lay deeper than ever before on the Encircling Hills; yet in this time a spring of wondrous glory melted the skirts of those white mantles and the valley drank the waters and burst into flowers. So came and passed with revelry of children the fest of Nost-na-Lothion or the Birth of Flowers, and the hearts of Gondothlim, were uplifted for the good promise of the year.

This feast is attributed to the powers of Vána, the Vala or Valier, of flowers and rebirth. She is sometimes called the “Ever Young”. She is the essence of eternal youth and innocence, all flowers and rebirth in Middle-Earth and represents the part of Eru Illuvatar’s mind that looks forwards to new growth and new adventures that may lie in wait. Also she represent the beauty of nature and within our own selves, when we are ourselves are good.

She robed herself in flowers and her hair was golden in color. She had “the beauty of both heaven and earth upon her face and in all her works.”

She also represents animals as well, she is the younger sister of the Vala or Valier, YaVanna, who is the tall Lady of the Trees. Vána had influence with the flora and fauna of Middle-earth we discover in the Silmarillion by J.R.R Tolkien,

all flowers spring as she passes and open if she glances upon them; and all birds sing at her coming.”

She was known to dance with Nessa another Valier and tend to the golden flowers of Laurelin, as she dwelt in gardens filled with golden flowers and often came to the forests of Oromë.

She is the pure essence of loveliness and while a bit young, she still showed some wisdom and knowledge of healing. She is known to have helped heal the Golden Tree called Laurenlin, with her tears after Morgoth/Melkor tried to destroy the light of the two trees.

Her tears were cried for the destruction of the two trees of Valinor, but they were so pure and came from her innocence that she helped the last remaining golden flower survive which became the light of the Sun, pulled across the sky by the Maia, Arien. In the days of the Two Trees, Arien was known to tend and water the golden flowers in the garden of Vána with the bright dews of the tree, Laurelin.

Vána helped create Laurelin, and so she has a very special place in her heart for this tree, though she loves all flora and fauna.

Then was the pit covered with rich earths that Palúrien devised, and Vána came who loveth life and sunlight and at whose song the flowers arise and open, and the murmur of her maidens round her was like to the merry noise of the folk that stir abroad for the first time on a bright morning. There sang she the song of spring upon the mound, and danced about it, and watered it with great streams of that golden light that Ulmo had brought from the spilled lakes–yet was Kulullin almost o’erflowing at the end.”

~ Book of Lost Tales Part 1

There are many ways you can celebrate like the Elves, and share in this day of Rebirth to announce the flowers in full bloom. Here are some suggestions for you as well as a spell you can do, if you wish.

  • Take a walk or a trip to your favorite flower garden. Remember to take your time to smell all the flowers you can and admire the beauty of nature, and see that beauty all around and within yourself.
  • Tend to your garden if you have one. Spend some time with your own flowers.

  • Enjoy tea time with flower inspired tea, I personally love my Jasmine Bloom tea, I have included a photo of for you. But any flower inspired tea will do!
  • You may want to purchase some flowers for yourself and for others from your favorite flower shop. Share a little beauty or give yourself some.
  • Go to a zoo or animal preserve park, walk your dogs, surround yourself with animals today and enjoy their presence around you.
  • Wear flowers in your hair, dress up and go out or stay home and enjoy celebrating in spirit with other Elves today!
  • Write in your journal or meditate on your youth, try to celebrate being a child again today or remember those memories fondly. Help heal and nuture your inner child in honor of Vana.

The Spelling of Fairies And My Own Elven Name

Thank you to the author and my faerie acquaintance, Morgan Daimler, I feel a bit better about my Elven name’s evolutionary path. She wrote on facebook:

“As I continue to see the fairy/faery argument going around there is one point I do want to address. The claim that “fairy” is a modern spelling and “faery” is the historic, and hence more accurate, spelling is something I see often. To be clearThere are 1211 accounts of the word “fairy” across the written record prior to the 20th century. There are 168 accounts of the word “faery”.Use whichever you like, but let’s let go of the idea of justifying faery as somehow more legitimate. “*source: ‘Semantics of the Word Fairy’, Williams, 1991”

Well, let me say right here on this blog for all to see that it is very accurate, even for me and my usage of the word and of my own elven name! The word “faerie or faery” is as amorphous and mercurial as fairies themselves. Brian Froud uses all spellings throughout his books, weaving together all the different spellings of the fae.

He writes in his wonderful book called “Faeries” with illustrations by Alan Lee:

The words “fey” and “faerie” come from the French and started to replace the Old English “elf” during the Tudor period. Spenser and Shakespeare popularized the change. “Elfland” and “Faerieland”, “Elf” and “Faerie” were and are still interchangeable words. The spellings of “faerie” are numerous: faery, fairy, fayre, fairie, faeries, faerie, fayerye, fairye. In this book Faerie refers to the world of Faerie as an entity (noun), as a geographical location, as a general name for its inhabitants (faerie, faeries) and as an adjective to describe its attributes, e.g., faerie music. Fairy or fairies is applied to a particular diminutive species of Faerie, or when the spelling is in common usage, e.g. Fairy Tool, Fairy Hill, or if used in source of quotation.”

The word “Elf” has been many ways it is spelled too, such as:  ælf, elfin, elfen, alf, elves, and now with Tolkien…elven and Elven.

For me, I use “Faerie” with a capital “F” for the land of Faerie, a place of enchantment and a realm where the incorporeal spirits can be as elementals, as well as where we can go in our own imagination. I use “fairy” for single fae, or I say “fairies”, to bring in an element of all the fairies together. I too can go either way, and will continue to do so. I believe it keeps the element of mystery, adaptability, and enchantment of the fay by doing so. A bit of Faerie magic, with only the words being used. Tolkien often would use either “Faerie” or “fay” in his letters, I found.

Maybe to help remind others that we too, like the fairies, can always change and grow in different directions. Constantly evolving and transforming into something new and different, as much as we feel inclined. No matter how confusing this may be, to others, it may bring in a sense of everyday magic needed in the world, I believe. It is also imperative to certain free spirits, to not feel tied down to any one thing or way of being.

This also will explain the changing of my own Elven name throughout the years. I have exactly four spellings you will find around the net and through the different imprints I leave behind in my book, websites, and articles. You will find: Kimber’el, Kimberel, Kimber’El, and Kimberiel. At first, it started out spelled phonetically to help others pronounce the nickname my husband started to give me and I started to name my online characters the same after he called me it. “El” means star or is often the ending we find on angelic names, so it was a loving nickname my husband gifted to me, so I kept it as my own Elven name, without ever looking back.

Then when I created the “High Elven Wisdom And Love” YouTube channel, I started to try to make it easier to pronounce and added the separation for “Kimber’El” or a more humble version and less angelic version of, “Kimber’el”. But articles about me being an “otherkin” or “elf lady who identifies with elves” has it as “Kimberel Eventide” since they forgot the separation, I created between the “El”. Lately, and probably my final evolution seems to be “Kimberiel” like ‘Galadriel or “Undomiel” of Tolkien’s language. I added the “iel” though it can be hard to say for some, even though in Tolkien’s language, the “i” is a bit silent in my name with all those vowels and consonants or sounds like the “i” in “ring”, so it still is pronounced as: Kimber-e-el.

Remembering how strange and adaptable the word “fairy” or “elf” truly is in history, allows me to accept the older spelling of my name on my Amazon book of “Elven Wisdoms for Daily Inspiration”. Those of you who have bought my book, will see the oldest spelling of when I first began my journey awakening into my Elven soul fully on earth, and coming out of the closet, getting mysElf into all kinds of trouble publicly…haha!

So, now I have to ask myself if I really want to change my name to my updated version on my new Elven Awakenings book coming out, that I planned to write for a long time. I may keep it the same name, just because it may be easier to find in Amazon book data bases. But isn’t it funny, my name has taken on the quality of a faerie? You can google me and you may find many different spellings of Kimberiel Eventide. You may not even find me now under a certain name, or you may find me under all spellings.

I think it has and will become a great cosmic joke, that I did not even write to tell myself and for others. Well…not fully.

In Love, light and wisdom,
Kimberiel Eventide

Future Visions For The Non-Profit Elven Spiritual Path Organization

It is a new year for the Tie eldalieva – The Elven Spiritual Path! Which means in english “The Elven Way”. We have very big updates, and the wheels in our minds are turning for those of you who have joined us by donating. I will give you a full update, and you may also watch my video below to see a preview of my book I designed to generate proceeds for the organization.

There are currently four co-founders under the Elven names of:

  1. Calatirniel
  2. Alyras de Cygne
  3. Nathan Elwin
  4. Kimberel Eventide (me)

So far, we have an EIN number from the IRS and Dec. 7th was the official mail in date of all our paperwork needed to become an organization. We are waiting to hear back from them now before we set up a Trust for the non-profit.

We are a non-profit, because we want to be able to give back to the world while also further recognizing and expressing ourselves as Elven souls with others.

Here is the wiki definition because it is perfectly describing what we are about.

The non profit is an organization dedicated to furthering a particular social cause or advocating for a shared point of view. In economic terms, it is an organization using its surplus of the revenues to further achieve its ultimate objective, rather than distributing its income to the organization’s shareholders, leaders, or members. Nonprofits are tax-exempt or charitable, meaning they do not pay income tax on the money that they receive for their organization. They can operate in religious, scientific, research, or educational settings.

The key aspects of nonprofits are accountability, trustworthiness, honesty, and openness to every person who has invested time, money, and faith into the organization. Nonprofit organizations are accountable to the donors, founders, volunteers, program recipients, and the public community. Public confidence is a factor in the amount of money that a nonprofit organization is able to raise. The more nonprofits focus on their mission, the more public confidence they will have, and as a result, more money for the organization.[1] The activities a nonprofit is partaking in can help build the public’s confidence in nonprofits, as well as how ethical the standards and practices are.

We absolutely do want to spread the shared viewpoint of the wise Elves of Tolkien across the world. We do want to give back to the community and those in need by being an example of kindness. I will be very transparent with where money is going as the Media PR Person and Elven Spiritual Teacher/Priestess of how we will be using it.

So far the $600 raised was used to file with the IRS. Whatever remains from that goes into a fund of the Elven Spiritual Path’s treasurer in order to hold for safe keeping for later. Our next step is to buy land for building our first Elven Sanctuary as the establishment.

Once we become a fully established online organization as well as offline, then we can start to organize our profits after the build, and how we want to donate to others.

The following are ideas we have spoken about and just a glimpse into what our organization will be about and what our members can feel part of.

Visions about our organization:

  • volunteer time and effort to help those in need of beautifying neighborhoods and cleaning up homes- bringing beauty wherever we can
  • volunteer time at animal shelters to care for animals
  • working on growing community gardens for the homeless to eat
  • reading Tolkien and Fairytale stories to elderly in homes and children in hospitals
  • Elven singing and performances to uplift spirits of those in need
  • free spiritual workshops given to those of lower economic status
  • yearly meetings at the Elven Sanctuary to gather together in friendship and joy
  • workshops and group Elven rituals to energize the spirit of members
  • Sunday weekly meditations around the globe to bring in peaceful energies
  • Astrology and Psychic services and workshops
  • Environmental and Herbalism education

Ways we will be raising money:

  • small membership fee monthly to help pay dues
  • Elven Spirituality books we sell
  • jewelry, clothing or other accessories with our organization symbol
  • YouTube videos
  • Sponsors and generous donations from Tolkien lovers or friends of the Elves

The best part of this vision, is the idea that after the first Elven Spiritual Sanctuary is built, we will be able to lend ourselves to other Elven souls around the world to build their own under our organization’s name as one large entity of Elves growing around the world. I envision us becoming the “new” Free Masons- Builders and Keepers of a kinder and more beautiful world with our Tolkien Elven wisdom spreading.

Our website will be launching for people to join us officially and become truly a member with a downloadable membership book to give you all the inside details of our organization including bios on all the cofounders.

I am ready. There is lots of work to be done, but it is fun work because it is about constructing new earth communities and spiritual pathways. I hope many of you will join us!

Official Secrets Movie: The Elven Spirit Of Katherine Gunn

I absolutely loved this Netflix movie. So much, it made me want to live in the UK, rather than USA.

I know this article will probably get me on some watch list, but as a very outspoken starseed, I already am on one, I am sure. I have felt for a very long time that the illusions of war and power is an illusion to wake up from and those in charge are not yet ready to. Money and Power Domination is a big part of keeping people in the “dream world” because it is a bit like a virtual reality game here with money and control. Money buys things and feelings of 3D personal power. Control makes money off land and resources, funneling in more money. It is all part of the 3D constructs of the world.  It is not part of the higher spiritual dimensions though, and many people are seeing this. Paper money is purely part of the 3rd Dimension and will not be part of an advanced world in the future of the 5th and higher. Advanced alien civilizations do not trade or play with paper money, just FYI.

How do I know this?

Imagine you are a Black Void of Nothingness..a Creator entering the “Twilight Sleep” as the Pleiadians call it. A consciousness that exists, yet is not aware or creating at all. Just a state of rest. It is the material world that springs forwards from this consciousness, and a BIG part of this material world of earth is money and power. However, in order to experience money and power, you have to LOWER your consciousness down onto earth in order to exist in the 3D material world experience. You are no longer an All Knowing consciousness, but you are one “playing” in a virtual reality world with money as a form of physical payment to your creations- both good and bad. It is paramount to this 3D experience. Yet, as consciousness rises again-money holds not a strong attachment any longer. You know the truth. You can not play the “money and power” game with others. All is connected. This is the 5th Stage and beyond when it comes to experience that the Pleiadians are at, and this is where humans are moving to as well.

I am not against money at all. I do see it as part of the lower dimensions though. Money can provide a lot of fun like a virtual reality world. You can buy beautiful things, and play with them, experience them and share them with others. But what happens when war, money and power create an imbalance to Spirit within? Katherine Gunn was one of those souls aligned to the deepest truths within her, and almost went to jail for her sense of integrity.

I just finished this fantastic movie with one of my favorite elvish actresses, Kiera Knightly.  This woman is such a fae soul, she even has played a fairy (Disney’s Nutcracker she was the Sugar Plum Fairy) and an elven druid in other movies such as (King Arthur as  Guinevere). I have always loved watching her magic, and in this movie she was so brilliant in her role as Katherine Gunn…it brought me to tears.

Such conviction. Such courage and integrity. Keira portrayed Katherine Gunn well for standing up for the People of Britain and leaking a document to the press. The press is the only thing that can protect the people from a tyrannous government and she knew this. The story is amazing. You can read about her story or watch the movie, but basically the US sent an email to British Agencies asking to collect data on UN officials in order to use to bribe them to vote on going to war with Iraq. It was an illegal war and I will not give the emotional ending away, but it is beautiful. Such a powerful moment of realization on all ends that what Katherine Gunn did to try to save not only British soldiers, but also innocent Iraqi lives from bombing, was courageous.

What does this have to do with being an Elf and why am I writing this? Well, it moved me so much and I feel that Tolkien, and many others who have written about Elven beings show them to be those that do things that align only to Spirit and nature-not humans. They care nothing for what humans in charge may think of them. They only follow a more powerful force within themselves, that can not be taken away even under threat of jail or losing your life. The story of Jesus Christ is very much filled of this spirit of conviction. A willingness to die for your values and principles under flawed human judgement, because you know you can do nothing else. It is as if your Spirit can not allow you to lie to your higher Self which KNOWS exactly what is right and wrong within you.

This state of consciousness is so high and powerful, that it can only be expressed in the most dire situations within certain humans. When it is, we hear about it in the press as “whistleblowers”.  It is a state of consciousness that I believe Tolkien Elves live at naturally, where it is about doing always the best you can in alignment to the whole Universe regardless the consequences. It is about the Stoics idea to never fear death, but to fear a life of not living aligned to your true spirit and ultimately lying to yourselves.

To be able to do this is the ability to move past all “human voices” around you. To listen to only the still voice within, and the urging of pure spirit. Nature can get you in touch with this voice. The natives and many other indigenous tribes living off land lived like this, with a strong sense of integrity that went well beyond human politics and games. I have a theory that those in charge of these military and political agencies just are not connected to nature, if they were, then war and power would never be the goal.

What Katherine Gunn did is as powerful as Galadriel’s light of Earendil that she wields against the darkness.

It is about standing strong as a tree, with your roots all the way deep in the ground and never moving regardless of what others may say or do around you. These are your principles. What you will do or not do in this lifetime, that aligns to your soul, is something that can actually help the greater Collective.

If you are brave enough to listen to it. If everyone on earth always listened to this inner voice from pure Spirit of the Universe and experienced within nature, there would be no wars.

Can Elves Be Demons or Angels? What Makes Up An Elf?

The wonderful author of Fairy Craft, Morgan Daimler, posted this article to her facebook page.

Elves Described In Anglo-Saxon Manuscript

It is a fast read that shows elves in different perspectives from different manuscripts discovered. It provides some evidence that elves existed, whether in the imagination or real experience, they were still a thought form that manifested in people’s lives to write about.

In one manuscript from an Anglo-Saxon woman, a woman is said to be saying an exorcism prayer to be relieved from an “elf” from the devil. Which in this meaning “elf” is referring to a bothersome spirit she senses in her life.

In another manuscript, there is indication that “elf” means a beautiful, or youthful looking woman or man like a nymph from classical texts. This seems to be more the direction Tolkien went with his elves, with added intelligence and desirable characteristics than just having natural beauty, but having wisdom too.

It is important to understand that the english word “elf” comes from the Old English word “ælf’, and this word comes from the Germanic and Old Norse roots meaning -“white being”. It is sometimes seen expressed as just a ghost, spirit or elemental in old folklore and stories. Possibly seen as a white being for many reasons- a bright light, a “good” spirit or energy sensed, or simply a light body, a vague immaterial bodily form that can be seen only subtly by few. I do not think it is referring to the color of whiteness, but rather the quality of the light spectrum of “white light” which is actually all colors of the light spectrum combined together. Only in some folktales and legends we see little dwarf like men with pointed ears, or fair women described as “elfin”.

One of my favorite childhood stories was about a little angry demon who stamped his foot who was seen by a girl, and after the little girl befriended the “demon” because she thought he was sad, he transformed into a little happy elf that danced and played with her. This story is significant as it shows the actual “flip flopping” of a spirit to a demon to an elf just by sheer projection and perception of the little girl altering his behaviors by her own.

“Elf” is the umbrella term for all kinds of non-human and humanoid beings as well as spirits or “hidden folk”. In modern times of technology and space exploration, we have something called the “space elves” or those from other planets than earth, but “elfin” in nature like the way Pleiadians and other extraterrestrials are sometimes described in terms of nature and mannerisms. We also learn in history that not all elves have pointed ears, but could very much look just like a human being who hides in forests or underground caverns. Elves are perceived in many ways in 2019.

You have to be specific when you refer to elves these days and that is why I say “Tolkien Elves” a lot in titles because otherwise we are talking about MANY different beings. There are so many elves, all shapes and sizes that across the world you will find beings and creatures remarked as fairies, elves or earth spirits of sorts. For some brief history on elves noted from around the world, you can watch my video here:

So what makes a spirit or demon really an elf then?

I feel, on the deepest level of reality from Prime Source of the universe, the collective consciousness of humanity in this world has “elves” as their mirrors to them. Me awakening into my Elven soul means I am getting back to my original roots spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally so. Wether I am an Elf, or have always been an elf is not part of my story in this life-it is about my BECOMING very publicly in front of others and awakening to my “otherkin” nature inside. Though, I will give a hint, if I or someone else did not naturally have this elfin inclination then I may not be focused on this in my life as many humans are not. For all intent and purpose, I AM an elf in spirt and a bit in humanoid form that is re-awakening, that much I am confident about. We Fae souls come to earth in a variety of form and spirit in modern times as part of our blue print of experience.

An elf is known for being part of nature, an extension of the fauna and flora world. Humans come from this same extension of nature from the Tree of Life of DNA shared with all animals and plants, however they become removed from it, and so elves and fairies remind them of an old “spirit” or “ælf” or “white light” within. Elves are keepers of wisdom about the forest or other parts of nature, whether they are evil or good, they are spirits that are “colored” by perception of the viewer doing the perceiving of them.

Your reality is perceived in a certain way by you because of the process of going through the filter of your mind and your thoughts. An event or a situation takes place in reality, but it it your perception of it that will “color” your experience of it and affect your life in a certain way. Take for example the Vietnam war. The  hippies of the 60’s protested the war because of their awakening to love and peace, they literally saw the war as unnecessary, dark and twisted wrongful violence towards others where compromise could be made from both sides. This was their view of the world, and it later effected others parts of their lives and their children’s lives both in good ways as well as bad. I am a product of a man (my father) who grew up during that time who despised those wars and showed me there are other ways than war to get to peace, as a little girl. Yet, those invested in the military complex, soldiers who work for it, citizens who believed it was the right thing to do saw the war as “good”, a light for the world, and something positive. This perception later effected their lives in good and bad ways too. These are the pathways-the perceptions and views we take that take us in certain directions depending on how we see the world.

Elves, like wars, are complicated ideas based on perceptions of the individual experiencing them. Elves can be anything and have been in the past as the manuscripts show. This is what makes them so mysterious to humans. Those with an elven spirit or soul, coming from the prime source as in they are having a consciousness block of the elven soul like me, will know they too are seen in this light. They may even feel their elven spirit can go either way towards the dark or light side and possibly even in the grey. Yet, all elves to be truly an elf must be a being most connected to nature. If it is not, then it is not an elf, but some other spirit unconcerned with plants and animal life. A spirit not concerned about plants and animals? What is left then outside of the matter of nature? A spirit concerned about people and ideas is either an angel concerned about human welfare or a demon preoccupied with the downfall of mankind. So an elf is not solely an angel, and not solely a demon, but can be seen as either one by those not connected to nature themselves and taking out the nature aspect of their interactions with these energies and spirits. Also an elf can act like an angel or demon, depending on the role they may play in the world or in someone’s life.

Anyone who is connected to nature right now in this life, does what they each can for nature and views themselves as “guardian” over the environment or earth in general is an elven or Fae soul in my eyes. You came to be part of earth’s collective for a very important time in history – a fork in the road of human consciousness to either go towards technology without thinking about the effects on nature around. Or to go towards incorporating nature and technology together, finding a balance or a compromise of having both; eco-sustainable. Some Elven souls may be VERY against technology as one extreme to really balance the scales, like many indigenous groups on earth who shun technology like native Americans or the Sámi people of Norway.  You can read my article on them here: The Truth About Santa’s Elves

Others are more in the middle like me, a “bridgeway” between the two organic and inorganic of matter who uses technology to promote and share elven wisdom in the world. As I said before, we come in all shapes, sizes and spirits today to assist humanity in reconnecting to nature and reminding people of their roots, and attention towards the planet needed to avoid some future disasters due to human neglect.

This is why I feel it is important to say today that I personally resonate with being an integrity filled Tolkien elven soul….not a mischievous forest spirit from “satan” here to meddle in affairs, but to inspire and teach humans. I use Tolkien as a teaching aid to show examples and get across my message more with support.  I have been called a demon and angel before based on people’s perceptions of my channel.  When you are devoutly religious with fear of anything other than human or an angel, it is easy to project an image of “evilness” onto elves and they become “demons” in your eyes. When you are a less judgmental free spirit and one with nature, it is easy to see elves in a favorable light almost like angels concerned with human welfare or well being, as J.R.R Tolkien ultimately described his elves to be.

The conclusion is that elves can be seen as both angels or demons in spirit depending on the person. The question that matters most to me is what is your relationship to nature these days?

Because here is an old ælf secret I give you freely today for coming to my blog: what your relationship to nature is like determines a lot in your own personal awakening and ultimately happiness within.

See my interview with the author Morgan Daimler as we discuss more about the Fae in general:

Races of Elves

The Elven community is growing so quickly these days as the Elven spirit comes back to Earth! Very exciting times indeed!

While some Elves do not get along with each other, or have differences, there is a deep respect amongst all Elves and so not all Elves will follow the same Elven-light path, but there is still great friendship between all the different types of Elves.

Here is a list of the Elves on earth today and part of our ancient days that I have been able to put together of all the different individuals I have met that represent these different types of Elves.

Noldor elf Mirkwood elf
Drow elf Teleri elf
Star elf Dragon Rider elf
Golden elf Fire elf
Faerie elf Water elf
Dark elf Desert elf
Gray elf Mountain elf
Half-elf Forest elf

How Do You Become An Elf?

Someone asked me,

” How do I become an Elf?”

My answer is simple:

THINK as one, and so you shall become one.

All the power is in the mind to transform you and give you ideas of ways to achieve the look, the lifestyle, and the goals you wish in your life to experience and express yourself as.

Never try to become an Elf only from the outside only-that is called “cosplay”.

Work on the inside and you will see the outside change as well, giving you the balance of looking and feeling more Elven as you desire.

Elves & Horses

The horses and I are One.
As both our feet hit the ground, we know we are part of the earth and will go back into its soil one day.

We work tirelessly for others, and remain with our own dignity and grace.

Nothing can break our spirit. No humankind owns us, but we work in service to them with a calm look upon our face.

Look deep into the horses eyes and you will see a Knowing. Look deep into an Elf’s eyes and you see a weariness growing.

We know what some humans do for the earth and for others, and what some do not.

The horse is happy to give their back to those who respect them. The Elf is happy to give a hand as well, if you are earth’s friend.

As the horse and I gallop away, we both feel a heart connection to one another. Feeling each other’s thoughts inside making us forever ride together away from it all.

We are wind. We are fire. We are Earth. We are water.

Remembering we don’t belong to human society, but truly belong to the whole cosmos instead.

Sharp Tongued Elves

Something that I am learning about myself is that with being an Elf comes a bevy of issue. Yes, it is wonderful to express yourself as an Elvenkin and love nature and such, but it is not all dandelions and rainbows at times. We are still in the process of perfecting ourselves just like other souls.

One of the things many of us Elves need to work on is the use of the sharp tongue. This is a way to describe someone who can attack back with words that have a biting edge to them. When you have a broad vocabulary or lexicon as an Elf, this can cause you to know how to use it in times of defense.

I both am proud of this ability and ashamed of it.

I am learning this about me. I can be very sharp tongued and I noticed it in Tolkien’s Elves too. Also in the legends and stories of old, often times an Elf will speak harshly when confronted. When spoken kindly to an Elf, you get kindness in return. They have the power to speak harshly to others to make them feel “small”. It is not the happy choice of the Elf to do so, but much of the time, Elves like to put others in their rightful place when they speak out of line with them.

I do this a lot to those who act rude, crude, or just down right mean towards me or others. Much of the time, I will shoot a snide remark back that can chill me and them to the bone.

Tolkien writes, of Elrond, taking a swing at Dwarves:

“Who will you look to when we’ve gone? The Dwarves? They toil away in caverns, seeking riches. They care nothing for the troubles of others.”

And then he equally says a harsh thing about mankind:

Men? Men are weak. The Blood of Numenor is all but spent, its pride and dignity forgotten. It is because of Men the Ring survives. I was there, Gandalf. I was there three thousand years ago. I was there the day the strength of Men failed.

As you can see, you do not want to talk back or insult an Elf, often times it can come back to you tenfold.

This is a trait I am trying to be aware of and observe in myself. It seems Tolkien had a good understanding of me, and other Elves, whose choice of defense is their usage of language.

Whoever said, “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words could never hurt me”, didn’t ever insult an Elf.

The Dangerous Power Of Wisdom

Did you know Wisdom can give you the power to hurt others? It can. It can be a power of Light or of Darkness. I realized this today actually. It is a bit dangerous for others to play with you when you have it and for you to play with it like it is a weapon to wield.

Sometimes I get comments on my channel that seem to come out of complete left field. They do not make any sense or they don’t pertain to the video at all. I got a quite “unwise” comment about the 144,000 based on misunderstanding, judgement, and assumption from someone rather than education or knowledge base of what it means.

My response was calculated, for I saw how unwise this person really was about this subject in general. Her powers of observations while watching the video were a bit dim to me. Meaning she didn’t fully understand or grasp the concept, and instead assumed something about me without watching  any of the other of my videos or getting what I said in the first place.

I was a bit exasperated to say the least. She missed all marks.

I thought to myself, I could hurt this person. I actually could make this person feel very badly about herself and acknowledge their lack of intelligence in this subject. I had a flash of awareness in what this would do to this person if I called her out publicly for her lack of observation and comprehension skills.  If you have ever been called or called someone “stupid”, you will understand how hurtful this can be. Humans pride themselves on their thinking ability and to say someone does not use it well can be the worst of insults.

But I thought better about it. You see, to be truly wise, is to know when you are stepping off the path of Light into the path of darkness and ego. To make her feel stupid, would be only to make myself feel better or superior to her, inside. I know this is how many people act and in fact, I am wise enough to see this was why she left a comment in the first place with accusation about me, rather than questions.

It can be dangerous once you figure out you hold the Wise One Soul type blueprint.  People really should walk lightly around you and not fling insults, or assumptions because of this power. The power of Knowledge can be a fiery thing and can cause emotional damage. You must always remember your study of subjects, academia, knowledge base, research, or keen observations do not make you superior. Big hearts can be used in this measurement, but STILL does not claim superiority to others. You are not wise so you can fling it around for others to see.

You are this way to teach and guide others into their own wisdom. This is what clicked into my mind after several moments of figuring out a response.

I chose to help her instead with a comment back. I lead her to a “fountain” of knowledge to take a look and actually see what I meant, and where to study more about the subject so she can gain  better understanding. I decided to be kind, even though she was not towards me.

Elves tend to be wise, rather than not. If an Elf is not wise, then they are simply dressing like an Elf with nothing Elvish inside. That is called Cosplay for photos. To become truly an Elf is to hold wisdom and kindness in balance.

To be wise is to choose to be kind in times when it is easiest to hurt others. Being wise is accepting you don’t know it all, but the things you do know you can help others learn. Being wise is knowing and recognizing within yourself when the wisdom comes from ego or from tapping into the Collective.

Once you have wisdom inside of you, you have a dangerous gift. With it, you can crush  hearts-nobody likes to admit their ignorance or lower intelligences in areas. But with it, you can wield it to create greater change in the world, by offering a higher road for others to take together.

Be careful with your wisdom, you carry Elvenkin.
